The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This very elegant clock is in untouched condition and will clean up nicely.
CASE: The ormolu with some light surface scratching, traces of tarnish and wear consistent with age and use. Some of the ormolu elements loose such as the surmounting arc, trophy and wreath, the left ribbon, a panel at the back of the pediment top, the top gadrooned border and one of the side foliage panel. The marble with surface dirt, minor nibbling to the leading edges and a chip to the left edge halfway of the dial.
DIAL: There are some minor marks, very fine surface scratches and a small chip at 12 o'clock
MOVEMENT: Not currently ticking. Missing the bob of the pendulum.
