Each lion and base with the expected minor surface wear, scratches and imperfections in the making; some firing lines in the making with some associated hairlines; some scattered tiny chips and losses to the enamels at the high points and edges; each overall with crazing; the female with restoration to her proper left eyebrow, each black eye repainted, the base with a restored Y-shaped crack, which runs between and behind her front paws, one of the lines running across her proper right back toes; the male restored through its neck, a few areas of touch-ups and small chips to some hair curls, the front left corner of the base restored; each stand pierced and with additional wear to the top, one stand with a large flat chip to one corner of the base; each stamped 'HONG KONG' on the underside; present well.
