The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In sound condition and ready to hang. With some small scattered breaks, primarily to the cresting, not extensive. With some flaking, lifting and losses to the gilding revealing gesso and barewood. With some small losses to the carving around the extreme edges, not extensive. The mirror plates and back boards replaced and with light wear. One with label "Farr's Dep's Ltd / Name Astle / No. 183" to the reverse.
