拍品专文

Frédéric Eugène Piat (d. 1903) was a celebrated and accomplished sculpteur ornamentiste, who created designs for firms such as Christofle, Lemerle-Charpentier and Maison Millet, and eventually served as artistic director of the art bonze manufacturer Maison Marchand. As an artiste collaborateur with these exceptional firms, many of Piat's creations were shown on their respective stands at the major international exhibitions of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
