The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In very good condition and ready to place. The marble tops with some very minor surface scratching and 'nibbles' to age. With some very minor age and construction cracks. The marquetry in very good condition, and with some small abrasions to the edges and corners, and with minor cracking. The gilt-bronze mounts with very little oxidation and some slight tarnish.
