The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In generally good, sound condition and ready to hang. With typical scattered light nicks, marks and faint scratches. The gilding rubbed in areas and with some light scattered cracking. With some small losses to the carved decoration, including a small loss to the tree-branch on left side of one example, which has a subsequent restoration to the center and at the top. With small scattered restorations to the frame, not extensive and well executed. The mirror plates with very light foxing, particularly on one example which has some losses to silvering on the lower half of the central plate. Very decorative and present well.
