The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Both chairs overall in stable condition but could benefit from further restoration to the frames.
Chair A: Repaired break to proper right arm where it joins the back. Also with a repair to the proper right armrest. Repaired break to proper left back foot. Repaired break to front seat rail. Scuffs, nicks, small losses and areas of infill throughout, particularly to feet. Losses to silk covering.
Chair B: With repaired break to proper right arm where it joins the back. Other small areas with minor repairs and infill, such as the lower back cross strut, and to proper left upper corner of the back, consistent with age and use. Also with scuffs, nicks, surface scratches and marks throughout, notably to the feet. General wear, losses and staining to silk covering.
