Each on a tripartite base cast and chased with acanthus and raised on three paw feet headed by acanthus, rising to a knopped baluster stem chased and engraved with acanthus and supporting a similarly decorated campana form sconce with crimped edge and metal pricket, the base with a boss to each side engraved separately 1756, FURNO FATTI DI CARITA, and A MADONA DEL ROSARIO, marked throughout with city mark, various control marks, and makers mark possibly A · P / I (Pazzi no. 54)

A similar pair of Venetian silver altar candlesticks dated circa 1770 and possibly earlier were sold from an Italian Private Collection at Sotheby's, London, 5 December 2017, lot 530.
