The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good order, lovely appearance, ready to place. The glass elements with typical scattered small chips, nicks, and tiny losses most particularly to the edges. The citrine drops with some subtle inclusions. The painted surfaces with general wear and very minor rubbing to decoration. The ormolu with the usual minor casting flaws, probably re-gilt, and with minor rubbing to gilding most notably to the edges of the base. The glass candle cups probably later, and in good condition. The bobeches with rubbing and minor verdigris and candle wax residue to interiors.
