The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In sound condition and ready to place. With typical scattered lifting, flaking, rubbing and losses to gilt decoration revealing white and red bole. The underside with old, now inactive, woodworm damage. With some visible separation at joints, but stable. The upholstery with scattered light wear, particularly at the ends, and slight sunfading, consistent with use. One example with black painted '4' to underside. The other example with paper sticker '2...' to underside.
