The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good condition overall. The decoration refreshed, as stated, but presents very nicely. With the expected scattered craqulure, flaking and small losses to the decoration. With some areas of retouching and overpainting, some slightly brighter in tone. With some lifting to the decoration on the interior drawers. The tooled leather writing surface later, and with minor scattered wear from use. With typical scattered age cracks, particularly to the sides of the base, consistent with age.
