The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good condition and ready to place. With the expected light nicks, marks, faint scuffs and scratches, consistent with age and use. With some nicks and slightly deeper scratches the edges and legs, as to be expected, particularly near feet. WIth some slight seperation at joins. The leather with cracking and lifting, and some discoloration. Some nail heads now lacking. Several with repairs to the backsplats and some with cracks to center of backsplat where it meets seat rail, but stable. Overall with a slight variation in tone but presents well as a group.

Chair A - The shoe with some additional screws where backsplat meets seat rail for additional reinforcement. With an additional small flat chip behind front right leg, not readily visible. Additioanally with a small repaired break to the backsplat.
Chair B & C - With repairs to back rail and with additional wear and losses to staining.
Chair D - With a repaired vertical crack to reverse of proper left side of side rail.
Chair E - With repairs to backrail and associated overpainting.
Chair F - With a repair to back right leg under stretcher, and with associated overpainting. With a crack to reverse of backsplat where it meats the seat rail, but stable.
