The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use, throughout with some darker tarnish and staining in areas, the plates engraved on the reverses No 5, No 7, and No 18, some wear to the gilding throughout, the two goblets applied with symbols of the monarchy and one goblet applied with furled ostrich feathers with gilt interiors, the two goblets applied with symbols of the monarchy engraved on the undersides No 254 and No 260, the goblets in identical rectangular blue leather presentation boxes with blue velvet interiors, one lacking a clasp, the plates in two blue leather square presentation boxes with blue velvet and white satin interiors, and one larger red leather square presentation box with red velvet and white satin interior, the boxes overall with very minimal wear and scratches to the exteriors.
The three plates all marked for 1977, the two cups applied with the symbols of the monarchy marked for 1972, the rest of the goblets applied with the furled ostrich feathers variously marked for 1969, 1970, and 1973.
