The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with some scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use, some nicks to the edges of the drip pans and bases, the chased and engraved decoration overall slightly worn, the cartouches on the bases removed engraving, though fairly cleanly done, some very minor wax residue to the sconces, two with a crack to the wooden interior support causing the stem to be slightly loose on the base, one with a shallow bruise to the base, one with a minor split to the sconce, most bases with tiny spots where through at high spots or seams, the marks partly rubbed throughout.
