A very similar example of this form from the Soulages Collection painted with a cross and stylized flowers above geometric banding is in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London (Acc. No. 530-1865). Another example similarly decorated with a saint and cross from the F. Leverton Harris Bequest at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge (Acc. No. C.67-1927) is illustrated in J. Poole, Italian Maiolica and Incised Slipware in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, Cambridge, 1995, pp. 242-243 no. 243.
