The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The first in overall good condition; some light wear to the gilding, mainly to the rim of the cup; a small flat chip to the underside of the saucer's rim, only partially visible from the front.

The second with some wear to the gilding, mainly at the rims; the center of the saucer worn where cup rests, including to the butterfly; scattered small scratches; a small flat chip to the footrim of the cup (not visible when placed); generally in good order.
