The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some minor scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use, the larger with an ebony handle, the smaller with an oak handle, the larger with some very minor wear to the engraving on the underside, the ebony handle very slightly loose, and with an old repair to interior opposite handle terminal, the handle and cut-card possibly re-attached, the scroll support below possibly later and lacking addition marks, the smaller with a number of bruises and repaired dents at widest point, generally good condition.
