With scattered age and construction gaps as expected, especially to top due to shrinkage and with associated inpainting. WIth later reinforcements to the underside of stretcher. Loss to stretcher back proper left approx. 1¹⁄₂ in. All over craquelure to black lacquer. Rubbing, losses, and fading to gilt decoration commensurate with age. The feet later.
