There is an old Christie’s label inside the right lower door with inscribed ‘123/604746/CHRISTIE’S’
Mahogany : as stated in the catalogue, the right lower door is detached because some elements are missing and broken, and there are some losses to this door, especially to the right upper and lower corner.
There are some losses to the veneer especially to the right front foot.
There are some shrinkage cracks, especially an horizontal one to the left top of the lower part (approx.: 40 cm.). There is also an horizontal crack to the top of the right upright of the lower part, just on top of the lion (approx.. : 9 cm.).
Sun-faded.
There are some water stains especially to the top of the lower part and on the shelves.
Ormolu mounts : There are some minor dents, rubbing and some signs of tarnishing.
