The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau se présente dans un bon état de conservation général.
Le tableau est sur sa toile d'origine.
La matière est belle, vibrante, bien préservée à l'oeil nu. Il est sous un vernis un peu jaune mais qui n'altère pas la lecture de l'oeuvre.
A l'UV, on constate des retouches ponctuelles, assez récentes dans le ciel à gauche de la composition, ainsi qu'au milieu, entre les nuages. Bon état général aux UV.
Dans un cadre en bois doré sculpté (approx. 102 x 163 cm.).

The painting is in good general condition.
It is on its original canvas.
To the naked eye the painted material appears well-preserved and rich in color. The painting is under a yellow varnish, but it has not impacted the appearance of the work.
There are scattered restorations visible under UV light. The ones to the sky on the left side of the painting are quite recent, as well as the ones in the middle (between the clouds). Under UV light the painting appears in good general condition.
In a gilt wood and stucco frame (approx. 102 x 163 cm.).
