The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There are some minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
Structurally sound.
Veneer : as stated in the catalogue there are few restorations with 'gomme lacque' paste filling to the both sides of one bookcase. (right side approx. 25 cm.)
There are some lifting to the veneer as expected, with minor losses especially to the both bases.
There are some scuff marks especially to the right side of one bookcase and to the left side of the other one.
One back panel is missing on one bookcase.
Marble : There are some chips to the edges.
