The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Marks clear, date-letter partially legible; marked on base cover and flange.
The two side panels with some section of the enamelling now lacking (approx. a 1/3 of the scenes). The front enamel panel slightly pushed back in the liner.
Front and right handside inner liner yawning at the junction to the rim.
Wear to three 'lapis' panels. On the cover, one 'lapis'panel partly re-enemalled (ivisble under UV light). On the back, one 'lapis' panel re-enamelled; one side with two re-enamelled panels (visible under UV light) and small chip on another; the underside with restoraiton to one 'lapis' panel and small chip to another (visible under UV light).
Some light wear on high points. The box yawns very slightly.
