The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition.
Veneer : is slightly sun faded especially on one side.
There are two feet later and one restored.
There is a crack to the veneer on the top of one foot (approx. 7 cm.).
There are some 'gomme lacque' paste filling restoration.
Ormolu : is slightly tarnished with some traces of dirt especially to the hallows.
The locks are later.
Leather : is worn with scratches especially to the center and one large water stain (approx. 23 cm.)
