The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Good overall condition.
There are some tears and wears as expected.
There are some traces of old restorations especially to the borders.
The pile has light even overall wear which rests well above the knot collar. The colour saturation is strong and even throughout. The structure shows some signs of localised weakness where there are a small number of tears, particularly concentrated in the borders, some of which have been repaired and others which need stabilising. The edges are secure and strips of material have been added to the edges for display purposes.
