The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In fairly good condition overall.
There are the inevitable dents, marks, chips and losses consistent with age and use.
Chips, flaking and repairs and restorations to the Japanned decoration, in particular to the exterior.
There is a loss to the Japanning on the back left corner of the left side of the cabinet.
The top left drawer has a loose base and would need to be stabilised.
Flaked losses to the gilding of the base, also with a slight build up of dirt and dust.
Traces of historic, apparently inactive woodworm.
