In the Louis XVI style, the rectangular case cast with a ribbon tied quiver and floral surmount above patterned moulding, the sides decorated with floral urn and garland mounts, the front topped with a ribbon issuing floral garlands terminating in avian scrolls, the clock face enclosed by a beaded drum, the circular white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, embellishments of floral scrolls and jewelling and pierced foliate hands, the clock with twin train eight-day movement with striking bell, on a white marble base with beading above a foliate-mounted garland frieze, on toupie feet
