This elegant mirror is in overall good condition. There are the inevitable chips, marks and losses due to age and use. As stated in the cataloguing, regilt. Some minor chips and flaking to the giltwood. Repairs to the peripheral carving. Some shrinkage cracks are visible to the base of the cresting where it meets the frame encasing the marginal plate. The plates with scattered foxing throughout. The upper and lower plates, although with similar foxing, appear to be asssociated. Structurally sound and ready to hang.
