Tapering rectangular upright casket in moss agate panels mounted on four sides and cover in a gold cagework chased with classical figures putti reclining amongst flowers and foliage, the body applied with the gem-set thumbpiece and push button, the hinged cover opening to reveal four Venetian glass scent-bottles with swirling white fluting, the gold neck mounts enameled in white with 'AMITIE', 'VIELLANT' (sic), 'AMOUR' and 'SOUVENIR', the stopper with link chain formed of a porcelain bird
