The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall in good decorative order and ready to display. Typical minute chipping, light surface scratching and very slight wear to enamels.
Woodpeckers: Restoration to applied leaves.
Falcons modelled by Max Hermann Fritz (1873-1948): the lower example with beak and one wing broken and restored. The upper example with tail feathers broken and restored and glaze cracks to treestump.
Green & red parrot: Tips of two branches restored and a small flake to enamel below its right wing.
Blue & green parrot: Two applied leaves partially chipped and lacking.
Magpies: One with chips to upper and lower beak and tongue broken and restuck. The other magpie with beak and tongue restored. Both with chipping and small losses to applied leaves.
Red, yellow & blue parrot: Restoration to wings, tail and claw tips.
Hoopoe: Body, wings, tail and whole head covered with a clear lacquer, presumably concealing breaks, cracks or chipping. Further restoration to branches and leaves (the leaves with some breaks and losses).
Cockatoos: Overall good decorative order.
