Presents well overall. The jay has been broken through the neck, restored and sprayed to conceal the damage with associated overpainting. Some of the spray is lifting slightly. The left wing tip also broken and restored, sprayed to conceal the damage. The smaller bird has also been broken through the neck, restored and sprayed to conceal the damage. Some areas of restoration to the tree-stump branches and the applied leaves, one broken but present, many of which have been sprayed to conceal the damage. Two very small chips to the footrim. Occasional abrasion to the glaze and enamels. The underside inscribed in red 1129.
