The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With a well-maintained appearance, structurally sound and ready to place. The veneers with some minor overall losses, repairs and replacements as can only be expected with age.
The leather writing surface faded and with some watermarks and scratches.
The hinges and locks later replacements and two of the original leather pulls lost, as previously mentioned.
Small narrow crack to the both façades and minor repair to right front simulated drawer.
The mounts washed and with the surface scratching, tiny spots of tarnish and casting flaws as to be expected with age.
