The shaped rectangular top inlaid with stringing and interlacing borders surrounding a hunting tophy with ribbon-tied foliage, above a fall-front opening to reveal a leather-lined gilt-tooled writing surface and a fitted interior with two drawers, above a frieze drawer, the front inlaid sans traverse with a flowering basket, on four cabriole legs joined by an undertier inlaid with a flower spray, terminating in sabots, stamped 'L BOUDIN', 'JME' and 'RESTAURE P. SOHN', previously with chutes, formerly with castors, the sabots probably associated, the escutcheon later
