Crested by a martial figure with plumed helmet probably representing Mars, the pierced foliate sides carved with scrolls above a garland of fruits including pomegranates, above an apron with scrolls centred by a foliate mask, the later oval plate within a foliate border, some refreshments to the gilding, with pencil inscriptions on the back 'H. Mueller Zimmerer'; 'G. H.(?). Frl. Zimmerer Hamburg'; 'Hans Sollmann fril. Maler Flensburg 1904'
