The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The pile is full and very thick throughout, resting around a centimetre above the knot collar. There is a light overall surface dirt and the carpet would benefit from professional cleaning. There is a vertical split, around 15cm long, and a small area of weakness in the left main border which could be professionally stabilised. The sides are secured with selvages. The carpet ends with the original flatwoven finish folded over and sewn.
