The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

These elegant dining-chairs are in good overall condition.
There are the inevitable dents, marks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use.
Traces of historic, apparently inactive woodworm to the later drop-in seat frames throughout the set.
The later upholstery is in good overall condition with only minor wear and tear.
Chair 2 with a repaired break to the base of the splat and the back seat rail.
Repaired break to the centre of the top of the cresting rail.
Chair 4: with a vertical shrinkage split to the right side of the splat, a small repaired break to the top of hte back left leg. Some separation to the joints due to shrinkage. Backrail replaced.
Chair 5: later backrail.
Chair 6: front right ear replaced.
Structurally sound and ready to use.
