The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This set of twelve elegant chairs are in good 'country house' condition.
There are the inevitable marks chips and scratches consistent with age and use.
The green decoration probably later.
The leather upholstery is significantly worn, with some cracks, fading and tears throughout.
The set would benefit from sympathetic restoration to some leather seats.
One in walnut.
C: a small spliced repair to the underside of the right seat rail
J: With a tear to the leather to the bottom left of the back.
K: The underside of the webbing with a '2' stenciled in black ink. And a tear to the leather to the bottom right of the back
L: The front seat rail indistinctly inscribed in white chalk 'D No 172 12'
Otherwise structurally sound and ready to use.
