The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The rim has two flat chips to the top left corner, one of triangular shape, circa 1.3 cm. wide, and the other of squarish shape, circa 0.5 cm. wide. There is another 0.5 cm. flat chip to the bottom right corner and a smalller narrow area of chipping nearby. There are two further 0.2 cm. flat glaze chips to the rim. The footrim has three small flat chips (less than 0.4 cm. across), one of which is gilt so probably dates from the time of manufacture. There is a 1.3 cm. firing crack to the rim, below one handle. There is typical minor rubbing/wear to the gilding, particularly to the gilt trelliswork pattern around the cartouche.
Overall in reasonably good order with only minor chips.
