The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This impressive cabinet is in good overall condition, with the inevitable chips, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
Evidence of historic, apparently inactive woodworm throughout.
The overall surface with some uneven fading as a result of sun exposure.
A break to the carving work to the lower frieze, the broken piece retained, a few further areas of tiny loss, mainly as a result of inevitable shrinkage, overall the carving in impressive condition.
Further shrinkage to the joints at the feet, vertical panel cracks to the back, and horizontal areas of shrinkage to a few drawers, all stable.

The locks later replacements, with one lacking from the lower left cabinet door.
The whole with a layer of dust, could benefit from a light cleaning.
Overall structurally sound and ready to place.
