The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The glass posé snuff-box: loss of gilding in places. Tiny loss of pose motif to the gardener figure. Tiny loss of black glue residue along the edges. Minute scratches to the glass on underside.
The lacquer box: marks clear; loss to the motifs on front and back lacquered panel, tiny wear on cover. Light wear at corners on underside. Abrasion marks and bruising to the gold liner.
