拍品專文

The monumental size of this bottle vase suggests that it was possibly designed by De Morgan as an exhibition piece for one of the Arts and Crafts Society Exhibitions which were held in London from 1887 onwards. An example of the same form, slightly smaller, is in the the De Morgan Museum collection, Barnsley (museum no.
C_WDM_0191).
