The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pile generally good, near original, ranging from closely shorn, approx. 1/8 in. to low to knot heads in areas of oxidation, minor fold wear. Upper left corner slightly dry and reverse with some bleeding to the colors as expected. An approximately 10 in. x 15 in. rectangular reweave in upper left border, very well executed and only visible on reverse. Some scattered re-stitched slits (well executed). Partially oxidized dark browns with some scattered Kashmir re-piling. Scattered re-piling to crimson ground, most extensive in lower left quadrant of field. Scattered fold wear throughout. Foldwear and oxidized areas with tinting in areas throughout. Some minor surface dirt and spot stains (not extensive). Ends with original flat-woven finishes. Sides later overcast. Flexible handle, fine weave, vibrant colors, good overall condition and ready to place.
