The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with some very minor scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use, some minor residue to the interiors of a few examples, some covers slightly tight, good condition.

The owls, marked GERMANY on the underside and with German hallmarks: only one marked, 2³⁄₈ in. (6 cm.) high
The pair of birds with spurs on rocky bases, mark of F B Thomas & Co., London, 1921: 3³⁄₈ in. (8.5 cm.) high
The pair of pheasants, with German hallmarks on underside of feet: one with some losses to the flange of the head, 5³⁄₄ in. (14.6 cm.) long
The pair of standing chicks, marked SPAIN and STERLING on underside of feet: some wear to the gilding, the marks double struck and slightly hard to read, 1³⁄₄ in. (4.5 cm.) high
