Overall with some minor scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use, the spoons with some minor wear to the edges of the bowls, the forks throughout with some wear to the end tines, some tips very slightly sharp or bent, the fish forks with silver tines and hollow handles, some tines not perfectly straight and even, one with tines very slightly cut down though not noticeable when set alone on a table, the dinner and luncheon knives with stainless steel blades and hollow handles, with some minor nicks to the handles, the fish knives with silver blades and hollow handles, with some minor scratches to the blades, the salad serving set with some wear to the tines of the fork, both engraved with a crowned lion crest under a baron's coronet, overall good condition.
The fitted mahogany chest by A. D. C. Heritage Ltd. London, with brass strapping to the edges and corners, the hinged cover and three drawers all with brass pulls and with brass handles to the sides, the exterior with some nicks, marks, and scratches, the interior lined in maroon felt with labeled spaces for each piece type, though no fitted space for the sugar spoon, with some minor wear and fading to the interior, with three keys, good condition.
