The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good, sound condition and ready to place. With typical light surface wear from use, some scattered small nicks and 'nibbles' primarily to extreme edges.
The malachite with natural inclusions and a few areas with minor repaired cracks.
The slate borders with some minor repaired cracks. The hardstones with natural inclusions and some scattered small losses to the corners, not extensive. One pane with a repaired crack, not readily visible.
The red and blue borders of mosaic with scattered cracks, some very small losses and some areas of repair and overpainting. With some restorations to the tesserae, including to the sky primarily, and a few small losses including to the ground o the left side near figure group.
The stand with typical rubbing, light tarnish and oxidation, including some minor verdigris.
