The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in sound condition. With typical scattered nicks, marks, surface scuffs and scratches, consistent with age and handling. Some of the carved decoration with minor repairs and small losses, as to be expected with age and as a result of old inactive woodworm. The painted and gilt decoration with some flaking, chips and small losses. With refreshment to the decoration, as to be expected with age. The frame is dismantled in 5 pieces. One capital with an old paper label to the reverse. Presents well overall.
