The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some minor scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use, with a small chip to the enamel on the front towards the upper right corner, measuring around 0.3 cm, some light tarnish throughout, and with additional dealer's scratched numbers, generally good condition. There is a hairline crack to white enamel dial at 7 o'clock. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the working order of clocks.
The box with some nicks, marks, and scratches as to be expected, with a number of shrinkage cracks throughout, the lower section seemingly held together with old tape, now yellowing and lifting in places, the interior with some wear, fading, and staining as well as some small tears.
