The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The obsidian and rock crystal with some minor scuffs and nibbles to the edges consistent with age, and with some natural veining and inclusions, with a screw to the underside which passes through the base of the box, though lacking the securing nut, the penguin lacking one diamond eye.

The glass of the box held to the base with slip locks, the glass slightly loose in the brass frame and with the top pane of glass currently off, but retained, the wooden base with four feet, wobbles slightly on a flat surface, with some minor scratches to the wood, the interior base with six small divots and some wear, possibly with now lacking some form of covering.
