The 'Service de la Table du Roi' was created for Louis Philippe for use at Château de Saint-Cloud and Château de Compiègne, with additional pieces added through the 1830s and 40s. Two reticulated baskets are now in the collection of the Château de Compiègne. For a further discussion of the service, see B. Ducrot, Porcelaines et Terres de Sèvres, Paris, 1993, p. 160, no. 108/2 and p. 161 no. 108/4. A part coffee service from the 'Service de la Table du Roi' was sold from the Collection Juan de Beustegui, Christie's, Paris, 10 September 2018, lot 51.

Overall with some minor wear to the decoration and to the gilding, some minor scratches, some surface dirt and residue from use which could be cleaned up, good condition overall.
