The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good condition; some scattered scratches and rubbing to the enamel and gilding; minor fritting to glaze throughout each; a few minor kiln imperfections to each in the making, including a firing crack (1 in.) below one hound's eye; the same hound with some restoration to one ear, eyelid, nose tip and one paw; the other with restoration to toes at front paws, ear tips, nose tip, upper lip and teeth.
