The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Both in overall very good condition with moderate debris at interiors and recessed areas, minor gilt and losses scratches throughout, mainly at prominent areas and consistent with age and handling, and minor patina to platinum gilding at scenes; one vase with minor tape debris at underside of rim, a minor chip to the leaf edge at the upper end of one satyr mask, the vase body needing tightening on its plinth; the other vase with restoration to the upper portion of its socle.
